This is a 45-minute online video meeting with a dental school admissions consultant to help you strategize and plan a specific aspect of your pre-dental career.

Option 2

Pre-Dental Strategy Roadmap Session

This 90-minute online video meeting includes:

  • Dental School Candidacy Evaluation: A review of your academic and extracurricular background and an assessment of your current chances of dental school acceptance.
  • Pre-Dental Coursework Planning: Guidance on determining courses to take and/or retake for dental school and a timeline for completing dental school prerequisite and recommended courses with post-bacc and SMP considerations.
  • Dental Shadowing and Extracurricular Planning: Guidance with identifying and engaging in strong dental shadowing and other hands-on dental experiences, manual dexterity activities, research, community service, and leadership.

Pre-Dental Roadmap Coaching Program

This six-month coaching program includes:

  • Monthly Pre-Dental Roadmap Advising Meetings: Online meetings with your dental school admissions consultant to plan pre-dental activities, put your plan into action, and review your progress.
  • Pre-Dental Coursework Planning: Help planning pre-dental courses and a schedule for completing dental school prerequisite courses as well as recommended courses.
  • Post-Bacc and SMP Planning: Support with creating a plan for completing coursework as part of a DIY post-bacc or identifying a structured post-bacc or SMP program to attend.
  • Ongoing Dental School Admissions Consultant Access: Continued access to your dental school admissions consultant via email or phone to get answers to questions as they arise.
  • Support with Dental Shadowing and Clinical Experience: Guidance with securing clinical experiences in dentistry including help with resume and cover letters for various positions.
  • Pre-Dental Extracurricular Activity Placement Support: Help identifying and engaging in meaningful manual dexterity, research, community service, and leadership roles that make for a strong dental school application.
  • Pre-Dental Academic Coaching: Coaching on study strategy and study techniques to help you ace your pre-dental coursework and DAT.
  • Dental School Selection Support: Guidance on identifying target dental schools early on and creating a tailored plan to become competitive for those dental schools.
