Jessica is currently a psychiatry resident at the University of California, San Diego. She plans to become a Reproductive Psychiatrist, helping women suffering from illnesses such as post-partum depression and psychosis, as well as those struggling with addiction during pregnancy. Jessica received her undergraduate degree and her MD from the University of Southern. While in medical school, Jessica’s passion for medical education led her to seek out numerous mentorship roles, including through the American Medical Women’s Association. She also served on the USC Keck School of Medicine Admissions Committee for three years. Jessica enjoys paying success forward and helping others achieve their dreams. Specifically, Jessica excels at essay writing and enjoys helping students create personal statements and other essays that are strong, unique, and stay true to their voices. She also excels at interview preparation. In her free time, Jessica loves to get outside and hike/camp in the national parks of California.

Rohit is an emergency medicine resident physician practicing in Georgia. He graduated summa cum laude with honors from the University of Pittsburgh and received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Prior to starting medical school, Rohit worked in healthcare technology and higher education consulting founding a partnered start-up, Altian Education, with the University of Pittsburgh. Throughout his education, Rohit has mentored students from high school students to medical students preparing for residency in areas of mock interviews, application processes, and essays. During medical school, he was involved with the interview and admissions process for CWRU SOM, and is now involved in the residency interview process. He strongly believes in the value of mentorship and is passionate about an honest, collaborative approach to guiding students through the admissions process.

Rachel is a fourth-year medical student at Duke University School of Medicine, where she was actively involved in DukeMed Admissions for several years, including conducting Multiple Mini Interviews and participating in applicant evaluation. Her direct involvement in the admissions process gives her valuable, up-to-date insight into how applicants are assessed and what distinguishes strong candidates. She has helped numerous medical school applicants reflect on their experiences and craft essays that authentically and effectively communicate their motivations, strengths, and readiness for medicine. Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Duke University and worked in life sciences consulting for two years prior to medical school, giving her additional perspective on diverse career pathways into medicine. She is deeply committed to mentorship and education, having founded the first Pediatrics Teaching Assistant Program at Duke and supported students across the health professions. Rachel will be pursuing a pediatrics residency this year and is passionate about helping future physicians navigate the admissions process with clarity and confidence.
